[YHBT] Byousoku 5 Centimeter 01 [ONLINE]

A pleasant surprise last night when I downloaded You-Have-Been-Trolled (aka YHBT, aka Dattebayo)’s spoof release since Naruto Shippuuden wasn’t broadcast this week (anyone who is familiar with Dattebayo knows that on ‘off’ weeks, they tend to release spoofs, and they’re normally worth a watch for humor’s sake, anyway) so imagine my surprise when, instead, it was an excellent quality sub of the first episode of the 3 part and highly acclaimed movie, Byousoku 5 Centimeter.

The story centers around two school friends–Akari and Takaki–who are separated when one moves away. They continue to write each other, and at last, they make plans to meet …

“Five centimeters per second, they say …”

“Huh? What?“
